Problems connecting to eduroam
Your eduroam connection from another university
If your eduroam connection is supplied by another university or college, you should contact their IT support to begin troubleshooting.
You are a student or employee at Uppsala University.
Most problems with eduroam can be resolved by following these instructions:
- Make sure that the wireless UpUnet-S network is not active. If it is, delete (or "forget") the UpUnet-S network .
- Make sure that you have entered your university ID (AKKA ID) correctly, followed by "@user.uu.se".
- Check that you have used the correct password. Password B should be used. You can create and manage your Password B at uu.se/konto.
- Change the existing password B to a password which contains a-z, A-Z and 0-9 (maximum length is 12 characters).
- Restart the device.
- Place the device closer to the access point (wireless broadcast location).
