Wireless Wi-Fi network - Eduroam
Uppsala University has made changes to the certificates. As a result, some mobile phones, laptops, etc. may display an alert when connected to eduroam.
This warning is expected and is displayed despite the fact that eduroam at Uppsala University uses correct, trusted and valid certificates. If you see this warning, you can click "OK" and continue use eduroam as usual
To connect to the wireless network eduroam you need your university ID (AKKA ID) at Uppsala University and your password B. If you haven't created a new password B you can go to uu.se/konto. Observe that password management may take some time. Read more about passwords here..
To be able to connect to the wireless network eduroam you must install eduroam on your computer or mobile device.
- Go to https://cat.eduroam.org.
- Click the button "Click here to download your eduroam installer".
- Choose and select "Uppsala University".
- Download and install the installation package.
- During the installation, enter your university ID followed by "@user.uu.se" and your password B.
