E-meetings
Use Zoom to have an e-meeting. Zoom is the preferred e-meeting service at Uppsala University, provided by Sunet and free to use for all employees (except "Övrigt verksam Mini") and students at Uppsala University. With Zoom, you are able to invite students, colleagues and external contacts to meetings with video and sound, from your own computer .
Participants can connect to a Zoom meeting using the Zoom-client, a web browser or traditional videoconference systems with H.323 and SIP.
Participants are not required to have a Zoom-account. There is a free basic account available for those who want to use the Zoom-client.
Meeting in Zoom can have up to 300 participants.
It is possible to borrow a license for Large Meeting 500 participants.
Webinar with up to 1000 participants can be requested from IT Servicedesk by e-mail.
Your Zoom account is active as long as you log in to Zoom, through app or via the web. If you have not logged in during the last 6 months, your account will be deleted. |
