The Vice-Chancellors at Uppsala University and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) have decided to increase the collaboration and establish more active interactions between the universities.

The U-Share project was established with the aim to stimulate and facilitate strategic collaboration efforts primarily between the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science.

Funding is now available for two collaboration projects, one hosted by a Medicine and Pharmacy department at Uppsala University and one at a department in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at SLU. The project led by a Medicine and Pharmacy PI should include a post doc with a PhD degree from SLU while the project at the VH-faculty, SLU, should include a post doc with a PhD degree from UU. Each university will fund one project for two years with SEK 1 million per year, which will be granted the host department at the respective university.
