As SCAS is located in the Botanical Garden in Uppsala, researchers stationed in Uppsala have a great opportunity to attend open research seminars at the research institute. Many seminars can be followed on Zoom, but physical meetings naturally have some advantages.

SCAS is a national research institution that aims to establish optimal research conditions for those researchers currently working at the institute. The institute offers research stays for researchers in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences from across the globe.
