At a press conference this morning, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven announced that the Public Health Agency of Sweden recommends that universities and other higher education institutions switch to distance education from tomorrow, Wednesday 18 March, onwards.
Preparations are already in progress at the University’s departments, faculties and disciplinary domains, and in the University Administration.
The Vice-Chancellor will decide on measures at Uppsala University shortly. More information will follow in the course of the day.
