Review of the premises of the disciplinary domain
As the operations of the Department of Neuroscience were distributed among six of the other departments at the Faculty of Medicine, so were the premises.
Distribution of premises
As staff from Neuroscience have moved to other departments, so too has the use of, and hence the responsibility to pay for, the premises. In more straightforward cases, entire rooms have been transferred to the same department. In other cases, two or three departments share a room. The recipient departments are currently distributed in a patchwork fashion.
Review of premises
On 23 March, the Board of the Disciplinary Domain decided to launch a project to review the use of the premises. The aim is to make efficient use of them, promoting a good working environment and existing and future collaborations. The plan is to present a proposal for allocation in early summer 2022 and make a decision at the board meeting on 22 June.
