What is SANORD?
SANORD, the Southern African-Nordic Centre, was founded in 2007 and today includes more than 30 member universities in Scandinavia and southern Africa. Its purpose is to promote collaboration and support member universities in meeting global and local needs.
The purpose of the network is also to function as a forum for academics and higher education leaders, facilitate development of joint projects and serve as a source of information and a way to engage with contemporary societal issues.
