KoF24 for the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy
What will be done at Medfarm?
The Disciplinary Domain’s evaluation must include the following four aspects, with a focus on systematics:
- Development and renewal of research and research environments
- Collaboration with the surrounding community
- Recruitment, career paths and career support
- Connection between research and education
Why do we do this?
The goal of KoF24 Medfarm is to identify strong research environments, with a particular focus on research environments that have the potential development. The research evaluation results may be used as a basis for prioritising future initiatives within the framework of regular operational planning. The starting point for the evaluation is the four aspects of the Vice-Chancellor’s terms of reference (above) and the Disciplinary Domain’s goals and strategies, Vision:Medfarm (MEDFARM 2020/816).
How will we do it?
KoF24 Medfarm will use:
- Relevant documentation on the Disciplinary Domain
- Compilations of basic data and bibliometrics
- Limited self-evaluations
- Site visits with evaluation by external assessors in a panel for the Disciplinary Domain
According to the Vice-Chancellor’s directive, the research evaluation must be carried out with a reasonable level of ambition.
