The following services can be provided:
- Measurement of work-related exposure (e.g. chemicals, vibrations, noise). Written report containing action plan to the manager making the order should be included.
- Investigation of work premises and measurements where necessary (e.g. temperature, CO2 level, ventilation and lighting). Written report containing action plan to the manager making the order should be included.
- Advice (supporting the University’s work environment engineers, chemical registry coordinators and radiation protection experts as part of physical work environment management).
Funding
Basic service.
The HR Division will pay for the hours of the work environment engineers.
The Buildings Division should be consulted for approval of the initiative.
Additional service.
Head of department/equivalent approves and provides funding for renting equipment and analysis costs, where necessary.
The Buildings Division can be consulted and tenders reviewed together before a call-off order is placed.
Cost

Measuring equipment and analysis costs should be charged in line with the supplier’s cost price. If requested, the supplier should provide documentation of the cost price for measuring equipment and analysis.
