Falck – Uppsala University´s occupational health service
From 18 January 2023, Previa will be changing its name to Falck. The new brand began to be rolled out in spring 2022. For employees visiting Falck, this means that a Falck sign will be placed on the wall instead of a Previa sign. Otherwise there is no difference for those visiting the occupational health service.
Uppsala University uses the occupational health service to prevent work-related ill health and to help employees return to work as soon as possible after a period of sick leave through work adaptations and rehabilitation. Uppsala University can create a sustainable workplace and a positive work environment by taking timely steps and collaborating with the occupational health service. Falck’s services include health promotion, prevention, adaptation and rehabilitation measures at individual, group and organisation level, as well as group training/initiatives.
Employees in need of healthcare not deemed to be work-related are referred to an ordinary GP. This is not paid for by the employer.
The head of department/equivalent can always consult the HR Division and/or Buildings Division’s contact people with questions about the application of the occupational health service agreement, considerations, etc.
Falck is the University’s supplier of occupational health services. Avonova is Falck’s subcontractor in Visby.
