The purpose of this support from Centre for Integrated Research on Culture and Society (CIRCUS) is to encourage junior researchers to develop interdisciplinary research ideas, and to facilitate mobility and knowledge exchange between faculties.
The researchers are to develop their ideas together with a scientific mentor and will receive qualified administrative support from CIRCUS’ office.
The applicant must have been awarded a doctoral degree in a subject belonging to the humanities or social sciences no longer than 3 years before the deadline for this call. For researchers without employment, we can grant up to two months salary as part of the support. Junior researches at Uppsala University who are currently employed as researchers or lecturers cannot be granted a salary, but we do encourage them to apply for the scientific and administrative support.
The application must be received by 18 June 2021.
