The Language Workshop offers different kinds of support for university departments and teachers, such as lectures and workshops on how teachers can support students’ and PhD students’ development of academic language skills. The Language Workshop can also take part in discussions on how to create assignment instructions and give advice on how to give feedback on student texts. In addition, in collaboration with the subject teachers, the Language Workshop also offers support for students in the form of lectures about academic writing and oral presentations, for example, as well as workshops.
