The Electoral College serves as the consultative assembly during the procedure for proposing a Vice-Chancellor and appointing a Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
The Electoral College consists of 65 members and alternate members: 36 academically qualified members, 18 students and 11 members from the group of ‘other employees’. The staff associations are entitled to appoint four individuals with the right to be present and participate in discussions. The Electoral College is entitled to comment on proposed nominators and the proposed chair and external members of the University Board.

Most of the members of the Electoral College have now been appointed. However, the 11 members representing the category ‘other employees’ will not be decided until the second half of November.

Here is the list of all members appointed so far.

The Electoral College will hold its first meeting on 27 November.
