About the Staff Portal

The Staff Portal (Medarbetarportalen) is an intranet for employees at Uppsala University, but it's also available for students and external users.

The purpose of the Staff Portal is to provide useful information and a platform for communication for employees and their contacts.

Parts of the Staff Portal have not been replaced yet

The Staff Portal was placed by the Staff Gateway on 6 December 2023. The Staff Portal will remain accessible until 30 April 2024 as certain parts have not yet been replaced and will therefore remain valid.

• Groups will be accessible until the Staff Portal is shut down. Before that point, however, many of the groups will be replaced by collaboration workspaces in Sharepoint. Contact the group owner for information about what will apply to your group.
• Local pages and local additions will be replaced as local pages are launched on the new Staff Gateway. Ask your migration coordinator about what will apply to your local content.
• The Directory will continue to be valid until it has been migrated to the new website.
