Sara Lindberg Bromley is a postdoctoral researcher.

Her principal areas of research interest relate to peace operations and civil war dynamics, in particular civilian protection and peacekeepers' safety and security, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Sara's current project focuses on understanding the intentional targeting of peacekeeping personnel (VR International Postdoc).

Dr. Sara Lindberg Bromley is a postdoctoral researcher (PhD 2017) at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. She is presently a Visiting Academic at the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (APR2P) and School of Political Science & International Studies at the University of Queensland (2023-2024). Sara’s principal areas of research relate to international peace operations, military organisations, political violence, and civil war dynamics, including civilian protection and peacekeeping personnel’s safety and security, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Sara’s current project focuses on understanding the intentional targeting of peacekeeping personnel and is funded by the Swedish Research Council (VR International Postdoc).
