Mayya Shmidt is a PhD candidate at the department of sociology and a member of the Uppsala Laboratory of Economic Sociology. Her research looks at sharing economy in institutionally different contexts on the level of organization and on the level of individual practices.
Mayya holds a master’s degree in sociology from Stockholm University and a master’s degree in applied methods of social analysis of markets from Higher School of Economics, Moscow.
