Biografi

Denna text finns inte på svenska, därför visas den engelska versionen.

I have a PhD in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Electricity, from Uppsala University. I want to continue to work in the field of Power Electronics applied to renewable energy.

I have always been a driven person and motivated by what I find interesting and of importance. I did my masters thesis in radiation therapy, and then I started working at Scania with testing and developing electrical systems for, among others, their hybrid buses. During my time in Scania I realized that I wanted to work with more advanced elecrical systems for energy systems. Doing a PhD in electricity applied to renewable energy was a logical step in that direction.

Forskning

Denna text finns inte på svenska, därför visas den engelska versionen.

My main interests are developing, designing and testing power electronics related devices for use in the electric grid. During my PhD studies I have worked with the electrical system for an in-stream turbine. I was working with a grid connected system and an off-grid system aimed for evaluating the performance of the turbine. The work included electrical simulations and on-site testing with the experimental setup. I want to use the knowledge and abilities I gained from my engineering studies at Upsala University. My own progress is important to me and that my job gives me the opportunity to increase my knowledge about power engineering
