Diane is a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction and teaching assistant at the Department for Information Technology. Her research focuses on hospital nurses' experience of work-related information technology in their everyday work life.

Diane was born and raised in the French-speaking part of Switzerland in Lausanne (VD). She completed her Bachelor studies in Information Science at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) in Chur (GR), in the German-speaking part of the country, before coming to Uppsala University to complete her Master's studies in Human-Computer Interaction. In February 2017, she started her PhD studies in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department for Information Technology.

Diane is doing research on nurses' experience of work-related healthcare information technology in their everyday work life. In this context, she is investigating how the increasing digitalization of Swedish hospitals is shaping nurses' everyday life, as well as nurses' experience of the meaningfulness of their work. Diane's research interests also include didactics, especially in the context of e-teaching.
