Services and support to students with disabilities
Accessible to all
Uppsala University offers a wide variety of support and services to students with disabilities.
The Division of Student Affairs and Registry have coordinators whose duties involve ensuring general support and cooperating with other divisions and departments across the University.
A student’s disability must be documented. A temporary illness or injury does not qualify a student to receive support or help for that disability. In such cases, the student is advised to seek support at their own department.
The Discrimination Act
The Discrimination Act protects against discrimination at work, school, university or college, shops, and when buying or renting a home. It also protects you in other important areas, such as healthcare, social services and the social insurance system.
