Courses in educational development

The Division for Quality Enhancement, Academic Teaching and Learning provide courses for employees of Uppsala University in educational development. For information about all courses for employees, see in-house training.

In the Swedish page are the names of all courses we offer in Swedish.  In the English page you can see the courses we offer in English. If you click directly on the course name, you will see information about the course.

See the calendar in Swedish to get information about when the course is to be given.

When it says Register below the course information, the course is open for registration.

Some of the courses with the organizer Unit for Academic Teaching and Learning are the same dates. When you register on more than one course, please make sure that the dates on the courses you apply to won´t be at the same dates. Information about all course dates is available in our calendar.

A Deep Approach to Doctoral Supervision

Time: Friday, February 12, at 9-12
Literature seminar on different aspects of text feedback.
Location: Zoom (link will be announced after registration)

Learning to write scientific texts during research education, culminating in the thesis, is common and vital in almost all research subjects, all over the world. Therefore, fruitful feedback is important for the learning process and several different aspects affect how the feedback is given and received. — The participants choose one of the texts below for a text discussion regarding different aspects of text feedback in research supervision.

Academic Teacher Training Course

Organizer: Division for Quality Enhancement, Academic Teaching and Learning
Extent: 5 weeks Spring and Autumn 2021 see calendar.
Every Spring and Autumn we will give three courses in English. It´s the same course but different dates. You can apply for one course or all courses. To apply scroll at the list of dates in the applicationform (beside course). See the heading information about the application for more information.
Last day to apply for the course in the Spring 2021 was October 15. Last day to apply for course in Autumn 2021 will be 15 April 2021.

The course is given in English and Swedish, in a mixed form.
