Courses in educational development

The Division for Quality Enhancement, Academic Teaching and Learning provide courses for employees of Uppsala University in educational development. For information about all courses for employees, see in-house training.

The registration for the courses Spring 2023 will be open in the end of August 2022.
In the Swedish page are the names of all courses we offer in Swedish. 
In the English page you can see the courses we offer in English. If you click directly on the course name, you will see information about the course.

See the calendar in Swedish to get information about when the course is to be given.

When it says Register below the course information, the course is open for registration.

Some of the courses with the organizer Unit for Academic Teaching and Learning are the same dates. When you register on more than one course, please make sure that the dates on the courses you apply to won´t be at the same dates. Information about all course dates is available in our calendar.

Please note that your presence and participation during the first scheduled course session is mandatory in all courses arranged by the unit, unless otherwise stated.

The following applies for all UP courses: If a course participant is unable to complete a course within the given time frame, all elements / assignments must be completed within three years from the start of the course in order to receive a passing grade / certificate of completion. The prerequisite for this is that course information and course objectives are the same.

A Deep Approach to Doctoral Supervision

Academic Teacher Training Course

Organizer: Division for Quality Enhancement, Academic Teaching and Learning
Extent: 5 weeks Autumn 2022 and Spring 2023, see calendar.
Every Spring and Autumn we will give three courses in English. It´s the same course but different dates. You can apply for one course or all courses. To apply scroll at the list of dates in the applicationform (beside course). See the heading information about the application for more information.
Last day to apply for the course in Autumn 2022 was April 15 2022.
Last day to apply for the course in Spring 2023 is October 15 2022.
The same course in Swedish is Högskolepedagogisk grundkurs. See the Swedish page.
For the ATTC2, Autumn 2022 course (start September 12), priority will be given to personnel at Campus Gotland.
NOTE: For priority consideration to apply, you should write “Campus Gotland” in the comments field when you register for the course. Registration and head of department approval must be received by April 15th.
Travel and accommodation are financed and booked through your department. Make sure you are approved by your immediate supervisor before you sign up for the course. The same applies to personnel who are employed in Uppsala. If you are accepted to this course you will need to travel to Gotland according to the schedule.

13-14 October, via Zoom
14-15 November, Uppsala, final meeting held together with the Swedish course.

 

Academic Teacher Training Course IIII Online/Campus

The Academic Teacher training Course IIII will be arranged as a distinctly blended-approach programme

Assessment, grading and feedback

Last day to apply is 15 November 2022.
The course is given in English and Swedish, in a mixed form.
The course name in Swedish is Examination, bedömning och återkoppling.
