EduID for collaboration group
If you already have an EduID account, you can use that to connect to a group area. Your EduID account needs the following information: E-mail, first name, last name, and a public name that will be visible to others. If this is in place, you can follow the steps on the External user page to use EduID as your login provider.
Using a new EduID for group are
If you don’t have an existing login provider for Uppsala University’s group areas, you can create a new account at EduID to login.
Creating and EduID account.
- Open the EduID registration page athttps://signup.eduid.se/ (in Swedish for now). Choosse to register an account using “registrering via Epost” (registration via e-mail) by entering your e-mail address. Once this is completed, click on “registrering via Epost”.
- Then click on “godkänn regler” (approve rules) and to the “människa” (human) check. After completing this stage, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from EduID. In the e-mail, you will find a link that you need to click to confirm your new EduID.
- Log in (logga in) at EduID to complete your registration with first namne (förnamn), surname (efternamn) and screen name (visningsnamn) under “personlig information” (personal information). Once you have saved (spara) your information you can use the account to log into Medarbetarportalen (http://mp.uu.se)
Log in to Medarbetarportalen
Click on the link in the invitation your received from Uppsala University. Follow instructions on the page https://mp.uu.se/web/support/samarbetsytor/inloggningsmetoder/extern-anvandare (in Swedish) to log in.
