Cristina Ghita

Short presentation

My research focuses on the multi-faceted manners in which users engage with their digital devices. In my work I apply a new materialist approach from both an empirical and methodological perspective in order to develop a more nuanced view of both technology use and research as a practice. My PhD is in information Systems where I studied digital disconnection.

In my current postdoctoral position I am researching the role of the smart electricity user. I am part of the USER research group.
