As Secretary-General for Clinical Research, you are scientifically responsible for the field. The role includes that you:
- Are the main rapporteur at the Committee for Clinical Treatment Research, a body decided by the Swedish Research Council, and to the Director-General
- Are responsible for the preparation and follow-up of matters that mainly concern areas such as research funding, research policy and international cooperation
- Have the overall scientific responsibility for the authority's other work in clinical research, such as clinical studies and the ALF office
You will also represent the Swedish Research Council and Sweden in Nordic, European and international contexts.
