The start-up capital and start-up package give you the opportunity to continue your research while simultaneously developing your business idea together with UU Invest and UU Innovation.
The call is directed at researchers from across the University in three focus areas:
- AI and data, for example: language models for the Swedish language and law, machine learning and efficiency enhancement in the private and public sectors.
- Fossil-free energy, for example: business models for the transition to sustainable systems, the energy transition and energy storage.
- Life sciences and health, for example: medical technology, industrial biotechnology, pharmaceuticals.
Uppsala universitet Invest AB (UU Invest) is owned by the state and managed by Uppsala University. Their assignment is to promote the commercial development of expertise and ideas on business grounds.
