We will consider various types of Equal Opportunities Projects such as educational projects related to Equal Opportunities, inspirational days or projects that are closely related to the seven grounds of discrimination, or broader recruitment, within the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy. The seven grounds of discrimination are sex, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other beliefs, disability, sexual orientation, and age.

Eligibility: Eligible to apply for funds for equal opportunities projects are students, employees, committees, and departments or subdivisions of departments within the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Evaluation criteria: We will evaluate applications based on how well they correspond to the call for funds, the overall quality of the application, the feasibility of the project as well as the proposed budget.

Funds cannot be used to finance planned or ongoing research projects or to finance regular, mandatory or recurrent teaching at the undergraduate level at the University. We will not grant funds to projects if a substantial amount is intended for food and beverages.

Funds can be granted to one or several projects. Since individual projects are not always fully funded, it is considered an advantage if additional funding can be obtained from departments or student organisations, for instance. Allocated funds should be used by 31 December 2022.

The deadline for submitting applications is 13 September 2021. Applications should contain a detailed description of the budget and a detailed description of the goal of the project as well as its implementation (maximum 4 500 characters).

The Equal Opportunities Committee will evaluate submitted applications and decide on the allocation of funds at the Equal Opportunities Committee meeting on 13 October 2021.
