Three projects will get to share the remaining funding for gender mainstreaming projects from 2020.

Gender equality indicators to support gender equality work
The Department of Information Technology will investigate whether the new gender equality indicator “Research resources” at Uppsala University can be used to support work with gender mainstreaming in the long term.

Identification of gender-based discrimination in the Medicine Programme
The Department of Medical Sciences will conduct a supplementary written survey to increase the response rate for a survey conducted in May 2020. The purpose of the survey is to follow up on two previous investigations into gender-based discrimination in the Medicine Programme carried out in 2002 and 2013.

Closing the gender citation gap
The Department of Peace and Conflict Research will review the Department's course literature and course material from an intersectional gender perspective in order to map the authors’ legal gender and background by birth. The results of the mapping will be the starting point for work to identify good examples and develop tools to support continuing work to ensure that course syllabuses, course literature, course material, etc., reflects the diversity that exists in peace and conflict research.
