The Electoral College is a consultative body in the process of proposing a vice-chancellor and appointing a deputy vice-chancellor. The Electoral College may also comment on proposals for the chairman and external members of the University Board.

 

The Electoral College is made up of 65 members, and each member has a personal deputy. 36 members are appointed by election within the scientific fields, 18 members are appointed by students, and 11 members are appointed among other employees following nomination.

 

The staff organisations may appoint four members with the right to attend and speak at meetings.
