A call was issued in January for project applications for funding amounting to SEK 2 million. The aim of the projects was to be to stimulate and support programme renewal and educational development (PUMA). Grants would be awarded in four development areas:

  • Programme renewal and general educational development projects
  • Active student participation
  • Sustainable development
  • Internationalisation and intercultural communication.

In parallel with the call, there was also a call for applications for funding projects designed to stimulate educational development specialising in online instruction and e-learning (PUDU). While a small number of project applications were received in this area, no applications were awarded funding.

Seven projects within three of the development areas have been awarded grants, but no project applications were received in the area of sustainable development.
