The joint call between Uppsala University and FAPESP was established to support the mobility of researchers. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic has forced research institutions to close, either partly or completely, visit activities have been suspended. We hope to retake this type of support when the world scenario allows it. Therefore, we have taken the joint decision to cancel the current call.

 

As a researcher at Uppsala University, you can apply for grants to develop collaborations with researchers in the state of São Paulo. A project can last for up to 18 months and the maximum amount per project is 7000 euro.
 
In order for the application to be considered there must be a parallel application made by the Brazilian counterpart. The applications are examined simultaneously and granted jointly by Uppsala University and FAPESP. 

Extended deadline for this year’s SPTRINT-call due to COVID-19:

  • Closing date for submission of proposals: 15 June 2020
  • Successful proposals notified: 14 September 2020

Based on previous calls, we recommend all applicants to read the guidelines (please see link below) and also before sending in the application here are a few points to consider:

  • A parallel application must also be made by the Brazilian counterpart
  • Project timeframe, project must not exceed 18 months 
  • Maximum amount is 7000 Euro
