The purpose is to contribute to needs-driven research within science, technology or medicine. The grant will finance the research of a researcher with a doctorate degree that is no more than five years old. The researcher must have at least a 50 percent employment at a university where half of the research also will take place. The remaining time for the research must take place at a company.
