The Royal Gustavus Adolphus Academy for Swedish Folk Culture has announced a call for applications for a month of residence at the Jonsered Foundation’s Villa Martinson, about 10 kilometres east of Gothenburg.

The scholarship is for researchers, including doctoral students, in need of a distraction-free stay in a calm setting to write a scholarly work within the Academy’s subject area, Swedish folk culture, in the broad sense of the concept. The scholarship includes rent of one of the flats in Villa Martinson and SEK 10,000 for travel and other expenses.

The application deadline is 15 December (only in Swedish).
