Work on the extension of Ångström Laboratory has been in progress since October 2018 and the extension will be officially opened on 13 May 2022. However, staff will start moving into Building 10 as early as 10 January, and teaching is already scheduled to start on 7 February in the new building.

A new film produced in collaboration between Akademiska Hus and Uppsala University offers a peek inside Building 10 in this final phase of the construction period. You are most welcome to explore the new teaching and research facilities for science and technology, which will be home to more than 1200 students and 400 employees.

Some of the people you will see in the film are Johan Tysk, Vice-Rector of the Disciplinary Domain of Science and Technology, and Henny Henriksson Larsson, student in the Master’s Programme in Sustainable Development at Uppsala University.
