The grant is primarily intended to finance costs associated with stays at research institutions outside Sweden. Grants that support research work in other ways may be considered.
You must have a medical degree and either be in the latter part of your postgraduate training or have completed your PhD within the last five years.
Due to the reduced possibilities for travel and study during the Covid-19 pandemic, no grants were awarded in 2021 and 2022. Therefore, in 2023, up to SEK 200,000 will be distributed in a special award.
The Foundation intends to award one or more grants of up to SEK 200 000 each in 2023. Applications must be received by the Foundation by 31 December 2022 for funds primarily intended to be used during the period July 2023-June 2024.
