This course, in the end of September, is aimed for PhD students and employees from all disciplinary domains at the university. It will give you a broad overview of different types of intellectual property (IP) and how it can be used to add commercial value to research outcomes, from describing impact in grant applications to licensing and creating startups. The course will also provide tools for finding useful information from patents as well as for structuring and presenting research outcomes from a commercial point of view.

The course is given by the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (Patent & Registreringsverket, PRV) and UU Innovation.
The course comprises four half-day seminars (9:15-12:00) during the period 24 September – 15 October 2019. Registration is open.

Registration deadline is 30 August. More information and a link to registration.
