New introductory course for public sector employees
At the request of the Government, the Swedish Agency for Public Management has produced an introductory online course for new employees in the public sector.
The course provides knowledge about the laws, regulations and conditions that govern work in the public sector and about the special aspects of a role as a public sector employee. The course comprises eight parts, takes just under two hours and is based on the core values of the public sector:
- freedom of opinion
- efficiency and service.
Note that there is already an online course, “Vårt uppdrag – min roll som statsanställd vid universitet och högskola” (Our mission – my role as a government employee at a university or college), produced earlier by Uppsala University, that all of its employees must take.
