The Electoral College serves as the consultative assembly during the procedure for proposing a vice-chancellor and appointing a deputy vice-chancellor. The Electoral College must also be given the opportunity to comment on the proposed chair and external members of the University Board.
It is now time to appoint members to the University’s Electoral College. If you belong to the ‘other employees’ category, you now have a chance to nominate suitable candidates to the Electoral College. Members of the Electoral College in the category of ‘other employees’ must be employed at Uppsala University and
- must not form part of the disciplinary domain’s body of individuals with academic qualifications, and
- must have a permanent employment contract that comprises at least 50 % of a full-time role.
The deadline for nominations is 29 September.
