Being able to sign a document digitally (electronically) is convenient, particularly at this time when many people are working from home.

The University has now approved a new method for simpler digital signatures, eduSign (via SUNET). The service replaces the previous method of signing with a personal certificate and makes the process much easier for those who only have to sign documents occasionally.

The method identifies the person who has written the document so that the recipient of a signed document can be sure who has signed it.
