The Mentor4Research programme connects researchers with an experienced mentor, to explore ways for transforming ideas or research findings into concrete benefits for society. The mentors have many years of experience from working outside of academia and are hand-picked based on the researcher’s individual situation and needs. Researchers are given personalised mentoring and support, including access to networking opportunities.

The programme runs yearly from February to November, and is open to all researchers and PhD students at Uppsala University. Mentor4Research is run by Uppsala University Innovation.

For more insight you can read the interviews with current programme doctoral student Lykke Silfwerbrand and researcher Emilene Leite.

Application deadline is 15 October. Find information and apply via UU Innovation.
