Uppsala University annually awards the Hjärnäpplet innovation prize to recognise and reward researchers and doctoral students who have generated research results or knowledge assets that have led to an innovation. The prize is intended to reflect the University’s breadth, innovative strength, and quest for a sustainable future.
The selection criteria state that “The Hjärnäpplet aims to recognise, reward and stimulate researchers and doctoral students who, regardless of their discipline, have shown a drive to understand their surroundings, describe them and contribute to translating valuable knowledge into innovations that have sustainable benefits for society and humanity.”
Nominations must be received no later than 13 April 2023.
