To mark the 30th anniversary of the Beijer Laboratory for Gene and Neurosciences, the Beijer Foundation invites all staff and students at Uppsala University to a screening of the film “Gala Evening at the Royal Swedish Opera”.
The film was recorded on 28 August at the anniversary gala that was jointly organised by the Anders Wall Foundation and the Royal Swedish Opera. Some of Sweden’s foremost singers and musicians performed at the gala, all of them former recipients of an Anders Wall scholarship.
The performance was put together by stage director and set designer Linus Fellbom and opera singer Charlotte Hellekant, herself a scholarship holder, who saw an opportunity to create the unique concert experience of their dreams. They drew inspiration from Anders Wall scholarship holders in medicine, technology, the environment and entrepreneurship.
