When allocating funds, proposals that benefit platforms or infrastructures expected to benefit several research groups in a long-term perspective will be prioritised.
Eligibility to apply
For eligibility, the applicant is required to be employed at Region Uppsala corresponding to at least 30% or run a platform or infrastructure of the utmost importance for clinical research in the ALF region.

The application is made electronically via an application form in Researchweb: https://www.researchweb.org/is/alfuppsala/.
To apply, you need a personal card in Researchweb. It is created by clicking on the link below and choosing “Log in/Register new user”. If you have previously created a personal card in this system, you can use the same. The email address you provide will be the one we use to contact you throughout the application process. Make sure to update your personal card and CV with current information if you already are a user of Researchweb.
A note on publication lists
Due to the technical limitations of Researchweb with publication lists, we would like you to upload a PDF with your publication list instead. On this list, you should report peer-reviewed original articles separately from research review articles, peer-reviewed books and book chapters.
Sort the publications under each heading in reverse chronological order, so that the most recently published work ends up at the top of the list. Include only articles or equivalents that are published or accepted for publication at the time of application. The order of the authors’ names must be identical to the order of the published work.
Assessment and decision
Your application is assessed by a working group appointed by the University Medical Board Executive Committee. Allocated funds must be used during each allocation year. Allocation decisions are planned to be made at the executive committee’s meeting before the summer of 2022.
