E-meeting (Zoom)
Students and staff alike at Uppsala University have access to Zoom, a tool for e-meetings. It is a service provided by a joint, Scandinavian body, NORDUnet, and is also widely used internationally. Uppsala has a virtual instance of its own.
On these pages, you will find information about the use of Zoom, primarily for teaching purposes. However, if you haven't used Uppsala University's Zoom before, you must start by setting up your account. That procedure is described, and more information about the system is provided HERE.
Students also have to set up their account in the same way, and they may need a brief introduction to Zoom. Both are included in this Student's guide to Zoom. For support, students turn to the Servicedesk via IT Support.
