We are all environmental managers
Central roles in this work are performed by:
- The Vice-Chancellor, who bears ultimate responsibility for the University’s work on environmental issues
- Heads of department or equivalent, who are in charge of environmental management at department and section level
- The environmental director and coordinator, who are responsible for coordinating and developing work at a university-wide level
- Environmental representatives, who work at every department and serve as the long arm of the environmental coordinator
- Environmental auditors, who verify compliance with legislation, regulations and guidelines in day-to-day activities
- Staff and students, who are responsible for following regulations and guidelines.
