Videoconference
Videoconferencing is a technology for distance teaching and meetings, with high quality video and audio. The sense of presence is strong, and many trips can readily be replaced with videoconferences.
Videoconferences can be used for lectures, seminars, thesis reviews, and different kinds of meetings.
Videoconferencing at Uppsala University
Uppsala University have, in cooperation with SLU, installed a number of videoconferencing facilities at the University’s campuses. The purpose is that there should be wide availability of videoconference for our operation, education as well as research and administration. These facilities may be used free of charge by employees (apart from the regular fee for use of the premises).
