With Zoom you can hold webinars. Basically, you can have as many participants in a webinar as in a regular Zoom meeting, up to 300 participants. If you are going to have a large meeting / webinar, you can request a temporary license for the Large meeting 500 from the service desk.
Webinar should only be used when you need the features available in Zoom webinar. Usually, a regular Zoom meeting is easiest to create, hold and manage.
- Participants have video and audio turned off (can be turned on by host, host.)
- The webinar has a panel of participants who will present (panelists)
- You want to use the Q&A function, which is a function for handling questions and answers
Otherwise, webinar has the same functions as a regular Zoom meeting.
Those who will hold many webinars are asked to buy their own webinar license. Prices below in the table.
A license is granted for the remaining months until the end of September, which is the termination date of the agreement. Anyone who does not want to keep their license after the due date must cancel the license no later than 20 May. If termination does not take place before that date, the license period is extended by 12 months.
Parallel webinars held on the same date and time require 1 license per webinar session and separate owners of each webinar.
