From June 1 you need Zoom version 5 or later to join Zoom meetings.
If you manage your own computer please use "Check for updates" in Zoom app.
If your computer are managed by IT, then quit Zoom.app and start it again to get the updates.
Zoom is an e-meeting service provided by Sunet, free to use for all employees and students at Uppsala University. With Zoom, you are able to invite students, colleagues and external contacts to meetings with video and sound, from your own computer .
Participants can connect to a Zoom meeting using the Zoom-client, a web browser or traditional videoconference systems with H.323 and SIP.
Participants are not required to have a Zoom-account. There is a free basic account available for those who want to use the Zoom-client.
Meeting in Zoom can have up to 300 participants.
Webinarium with up to 500 participants can be requested from IT Servicedesk by e-mail.

Here’s a tip: Every Wednesday between 2.00 and 4.00 p.m. you can try out your ideas on educational developers and receive guidance in the University’s system concerning the field of learning.
If you cannot make it in person to Blåsenhus, you can enter, instead, this Zoom online meeting room, which is also open during workshop hours.

No meeting content is stored at the service provider. Recordings, saved text from chat, annotations etc is saved locally on the saving users computer. The meeting host decides who are allowed to record a meeting.
Name of person, account and mail address is saved by te supplier to be able to delviiver the service to our users.
