Export of personal certificate to file - Mac OS
If you have a personal certificate, you should make at least one copy of the certificate.
You need it in the following cases:
- At a reinstallation of the computer.
- To sign, encrypt, or reading the email that you have received encrypted into another computer or e-reader.
Export of personal certificate to file
Write Keychain. During Best Match double click on the Keychain.
See under Category, select My certificates. Select the personal certificate.
Go to the File menu and choose Export item.
Enter a name certificate should be saved as. Select a location. The file format it will be saved in the exchange of personal information (.p12). Click Save.
Enter a password to protect the certificate so that no one else can use it. Verify password. Click OK.
