Storage of research data
Dataportal Allvis is the system chosen by Uppsala University for storage of research data. Allvis is a centrally funded, and a limited volume is allocated to researchers and research project free of charge. The volume allocated is 200Gb. The maximum size of a single file that can be uploaded is 10 Gb. Dataportal Allvis has been classfied with CIA 233.
Order a storage area
To order a storage area in Dataportal Allvis, send in a request to itsupport@uu.se, with the following information:
Choose the type of storage area that suits your needs:
1. Project - collaboration in one or several active research projects
2. Workspace - collaboration in research group(s) that is not a project
A title for your storage area: the title could be e.g. the project name or project group. Refrain from using a title that's too "revealing" of your research data, as the title will be included in the storage area's URL.
Confirm the owner of the storage area by providing AKKA-id/e-mail.
Preferred Language: Swedish or English.
Collaboration with external partners
To collaborate with external users you need to apply for an external account, because you need an active account att Uppsala university to be able to login to Allvis. How to apply for an external account.
