High environmental standards
The Segerstedt Building was built as a sustainable building with high environmental standards. Efficient energy use, sound material choices, a silent indoor environment, good ventilation and high moisture durability were important criteria.
Solar cells on the roof contribute to the building’s energy supply. Environmental and sustainability perspectives are incorporated into the restaurant’s operations. There are charging stations for electric cars and electric bicycles adjacent to the building.
The building is environmentally certified according to the Sweden Green Building Council at the silver level.
